    Went in for my birthday lunch with my girlfriend and had the steak and chips, absolutely lovely. Ordered the ice cream for pudding. Halfway through eating it I found a long brown hair in it. Went up and spoke to the manager and she couldn't have been more sorry. I understand these things sometimes happen. She replaced it with another pudding and both of our puddings were taken off the bill.
    Would go back as I'm sure it was a one off.

    Good food with a varied selection. There should be something for everyone. Kid friendly. Service can be a little slow at times as with most places.

    Reasonably priced steak in a modern "pub". Good food and beer. Loses a star for the lack of atmosphere and ridiculously large portions.
