  A lunch visit to celebrate our anniversary with two friends was disappointing virtually from the beginning, the waiter , Mark was less than professional to say the least, we were obliged to ask for bread, to request the wine list and to top up the water glasses. Overall the service was far from being Michelin star standard.
  Food was good but not exceptional and the atmosphere was not enhanced by the same waiter challenging us over a charge on the bill when asked to clarify an item which he had originally said was inclusive.
  
  Having been employed in the Foodservice industry for more than thirty years and , in that time, been privileged to enjoy many excellent meals in establishments throughout the world, many of whom with more than one Michelin star it was a sad reflection on the only *starred* restaurant in Horsham.Not an experience I intend to repeat.

  Superb. The most wonderful evening out. Friendly attentive and knowledgable staff, exquisite food and wine. We had the 6 course tasting menu and were delighted with every course and were completely full by the end of it, especially after adding a cheese course of wonderful English and continental cheeses. Thank you for looking after us so well.
